Book Your Stay at Broomewa, Broome

Book your Broome stay, direct with us.

Booking straight with Broomewa is the simplest way to secure your dates. You deal with the people who actually run the property, you see the full range of suites rather than whatever is left on a third-party site, and you can ask questions about the town before you arrive.

Choose your dates, pick the suite that fits your group, and send through your details. We confirm availability and the total cost in writing so there are no surprises when you check in.

How to book in three steps

1. Pick your dates and suite. Have a look through the suite options and decide whether a one bedroom or two bedroom layout suits you. Couples usually settle on a one bedroom pool view suite, while families and travelling friends tend to prefer a two bedroom bay view suite for the extra space and the outlook over Roebuck Bay.

2. Send your request. Use the BOOK NOW button on this page or the enquiry form and include your arrival and departure dates, the number of adults and children, and any access needs. If you are travelling with a pram, in a wheelchair, or need a cot or high chair, tell us at this point so we can allocate the right suite from the start.

3. Confirm and pay. We reply with availability, the nightly rate for your dates and the deposit required to hold the room. Once that is done you will receive written confirmation with your arrival details, parking information and the directions that actually make sense once you are in town.

Peak periods fill early, so if you are tied to school holidays or a particular event weekend, it is worth getting your request in well ahead of time rather than hoping something opens up closer to the date.

Choosing when to come

Broome runs to a very clear seasonal rhythm, and the dates you choose will shape your whole trip.

The dry season, roughly April through October, brings blue skies, low humidity and the famous evening sea breeze. This is the busiest stretch of the year, and it is also when the Staircase to the Moon appears over the exposed mudflats of Roebuck Bay for a few nights each month between March and October. Those nights are the first to go, so book around a moon and tide timetable rather than picking dates and hoping.

The build-up and wet season, from November to March, is hotter and stickier, but it brings spectacular storms, green landscapes, fewer visitors and considerably lower rates. Many guests who come back year after year now deliberately choose February or March for exactly that reason.

It is also worth checking the calendar for the Shinju Matsuri festival, the Broome Cup, and Western Australian school holidays, which sit alongside the moon nights as the periods that sell out first.

Which suite should you book?

All of our accommodation is self-contained, with air conditioning, comfortable living space and either a full kitchen or kitchenette, so you can eat in when you feel like it and walk into town when you don't.

  • One bedroom pool view suites — the pick for couples who want a quiet base and a short stroll to the water.
  • Two bedroom bay view suites — room to spread out for families and small groups, with the wide view over the bay.
  • One bedroom suites — straightforward, comfortable and well suited to solo travellers or a couple on a longer stay.
  • Two bedroom suites — a practical option for friends travelling together who want separate sleeping areas.

If you are staying a week or more, say so in your request. Longer stays are easier to plan around housekeeping and we can talk through what is available for your window.

What to have ready before you book

Booking is quicker if you already know your arrival and departure dates, how many guests will be in the suite including children and their ages, and your estimated arrival time. Let us know if you need parking, ground-floor access, a cot or extra bedding, and mention any special occasion you are marking — it helps us look after you properly.

Deposit amounts, cancellation terms and check-in and check-out times are confirmed in writing at the time of booking, so read through the confirmation carefully and ask if anything is unclear before you pay. That way everyone knows where they stand well before the bags are packed.

Groups travelling together for a family reunion, a fishing trip or a festival weekend are welcome, though it pays to enquire early so the right combination of suites can be held at once.
